Brutal Fruit brings one of the most exciting trends to have taken Europe by storm, to the shores of exquisite South Africa…Glamping. Brutal Fruit has just undergone its own pack revitalisation, and would love to share the opportunity for 2 200 incredible women to spend an entire day invigorating various facets of their own lives.
THE OSCARS have gifting suites, the Grammys have goodie lounges – and the 2200 lucky women attending next weekend’s Brutal Fruit Glam Camp will be treated to oodles of pamper spots thanks to some of the country’s most glamorous brands.
Glampers will be able to brush up on the latest style tips thanks to fashion workshops hosted by Edgars Melrose Arch, get the hair they dreamed of courtesy of Carlton Hair beauty demos, be pampered like princesses in the Pyramid Day Spa tented sanctuary, get facemapped at the Dermalogica skin bar, slicken up their lip-gloss techniques at the 2 Love My Lips stand while indulging in Bournville fine dark chocolate and quenching their thirst at the Dentyne smoothie bar.
As one of the most exciting trends to have taken Europe by storm, glamping has seen celebs like Pixie Geldoff and Kate Moss ditch their sleeping bags for caravans at music fests.
And thanks to Brutal Fruit, which has undergone its own pack revitalisation, this luxurious phenomenon sets up site at Muldersdrift’s exquisite Casalinga where women between the ages of 18 and 30 will be able to experience scintillating
workshops with some of the country’s leading experts, who are being hosted by the Guvon Group's Glenburn Lodge.
An artist's impression of the Glam Camp....aaaaaah! am soooo jealous! |
Leigh Toselli and 5FM’s glam Poppy Ntshongwana will give them the 101 on style and fashion, Maya Fisher-French will give glampers the tools to manage their cash, they will learn about green fingers with Tanya Visser and become DIY queens thanks to Aidan Bennetts.
Every glamper needs to pack light the stylish way so Kate Emmersen’s de-clutter workshop is bound to be a hit while Charleen Clarke will get their engine revving through informative car maintenance workshops; make up artist to the stars, Carl Isaacs, reveals his secrets to putting your best face forward while celebrity chef Aubrey Ngcungama makes sure they will never go hungry by cooking up a storm.
At the workshops, glampers will also stand the chance to score eight True Religion vouchers (worth R5400 each!) and pop in at sponsor stands dotted around the glamp site to fill their goodie bags with glammy girly glamping products from Lifestyle feminine products to Sunglass Hut discount vouchers and a host of other goodies thanks to Pick n Pay, and Plum Shoes.
And to top it all off, these lucky campers stand the chance of winning decadent hampers from dreamy furniture designer Aidan Bennetts, de-clutter queen Kate Emmersen, makeup supremo Carl Isaacs and laminated book markers from Maya Fisher-French.
All you need for a relaxed time! |
