iRep Swaziland has come up with a theme termed “REPstar”, which aims to evoke a sense of being excellent in every facet of one’s life, whilst continuing to foster a strong sense of national pride. A “REPstar” is a person that wakes up every morning and strives to be exceptional in every part of their day. “A strong self image is the best accessory anyone can wear, this is a founding principle of the brand”, says designer Linda Malinga.
Linda Malinga, a local aspiring mogul from Manzini is the brains behind this brand, which is synonymous for creating a strong sense of national pride and self- esteem in anyone that wears it. iRep Swaziland is a local brand that is steadily shifting the local and international fashion landscape by showcasing the unique beauty of Swaziland.
The brand has seen local socialites and celebrities alike wearing it locally and internationally. The brand is endorsed by the likes of Amanda Du Pont, a leading Swazi actress based in New York, local Hip Hop sensation KrTC, South African based socialite Kim Du Pont and the electric Ciwe of the Cyborg girls to name but a few. The brand can be purchased at Sassy at the Riverstone Mall in Manzini.
We decided to create a story line around the fabulous pictures. Do note that the story is FICTION:
