Swaziland’s International festival of the arts will be taking place from May 31st – June 2nd. This unique festival sees some of Africa’s best artists performing in an intimate and 100% socially responsible festival.
Each year a multi-generational global community of up to 20,000 “bring their fire” to the scenic Malkerns Valley to experience an eclectic Pan-African and international line-up of live music, theatre, poetry, film, circus, dance and visual arts. A vibrant handcraft market, family-friendly performances and KidZone as well as the recently introduced interactive art and dialogue space, The Barn, combine to create a magically eclectic three day entertainment experience.
TICKETING
Online ticket sales for the 7th annual MTN BUSHFIRE will be available at www.bushfire.co.sz from February 11th 2013.
Audiences are encouraged to buy their tickets before 30 March 2013 to stand a chance to win awesome prizes including ticket upgrades to the Golden Lounge and five star accommodation, amongst other prizes. Also, the first 50 people to buy a full festival ticket will receive a free MTN BUSHFIRE T-shirt!
Physical tickets will be available from Malandela’s internet Café at House on Fire and various MTN Service Centres in April. Festival director, Jiggs Thorne states “We will also launch mobile ticket sales powered by MTN Mobile Money at a discounted price for a limited period. We encourage patrons to register for MTN Mobile Money in order to benefit from the discount and to participate in our competitions”.
Getting to the MTN BUSHFIRE- has also never been easier with the Transmagnific shuttle service with daily transfers to and from Mbabane to OR Tambo and Sandton in comfortable mini-buses including a light lunch. Attendees don’t have to worry about driving home after a long day of fun, the MTN BUSHFIRE campsite is within walking distance of the festival grounds.
