I've been actually too embarrassed to publish the results of this year's National Parliamentary Elections, which were held on 20 September across the country. It beats me how a country that has a majority of women in population can elect just one woman to Parliament. This is not only a disgrace but a challenge to all the women out there to take the initiative and stand and be counted. Whether this is a sign of lack of ambition from women in general or it is failure for women to believe in each other remains a mystery. All we know is, it's got to stop! Congratulations to Make Esther Dlamini from Mbabane East, actually, congratulations to the Mbabane East voters for showing confidence in a woman.
