MTN BUSHFIRE Announces 2014 Dates



It’s set to be the largest music festival in the region, and this year it promises the most diverse line-up to date. MTN BUSHFIRE is Swaziland’s biggest collaboration of artists from across the world; a celebration of music, art, and culture.  This year the event is to take place from May 30th – June 1st.
Going from strength to Going from strength to strength, last year saw a multi-generational global community of well over 20,000 ‘bring their fire’ to the scenic Malkerns Valley to experience a diverse Pan-African and international line-up of live music, theatre, poetry, film, circus, dance and visual arts.
This three day entertainment experience also brings in the tradition and beauty of Swaziland’s handicrafts, and combined with live entertainment produces a now world famous event.

2014 will be no exception when it comes to what to expect. This 100% socially responsible festival named as a world top 9 music festival by ‘MTV’ and one of the continent’s best art events 2014 by ‘Culture Trip’ has already secured performers from 8 countries, including the much-loved and 70’s inspired Bogota based Colombian Salsa artists, La 33, Mokoomba from Zimbabwe, Under Kontrol all the way from France, Slovenian legends Red Five Point Star and the Imperial Tiger Orchestra all the way from Switzerland.

So, if you fancy experiencing what some call the ‘Glastonbury of Africa’ – now’s the time to get your tickets as there is little doubt this year will be a sell out!
