MTN BUSHFIRE 2014, Swaziland’s international festival of the arts will be taking place from May 30th – June 1st
2014. This year’s festival promises the most diverse line-up to date,
with the event set to become the largest world music festival in the
region. MTN BUSHFIRE 2014 is increasing the global diversity of its
line-up to create something truly unique in Southern Africa.
Already well established as a top Pan-African festival, it was recenlty
named by CNN as one of the “7 African Music Festivals You Really Have

Already for MTN BUSHFIRE 2014, artists from over 10 countries have been
confirmed including diverse acts such as the much-loved and 70’s
inspired Bogota based Colombian Salsa artists, La 33, Mokoomba
(Zimbabwe), Under Kontrol (France), Red Five Point Star (Slovenia), and
Imperial Tiger Orchestra (Switzerland) and the Nomadic Wax Orchestra
from the United States.
Swaziland’s incredible creative talent is also featuring on MTN
Bushfire stages, including Bholoja, Floewe, Qibho & Sands and the
PelePele Cultural group.
Some of South Africa’s biggest and most loved names will also be
heading to MTN BUSHFIRE this year with confirmed artists including none
other than multi- Grammy award winners Ladysmith Black Mambazo, as well
as the incredible Bongo Maffin, Uhuru, Derek Gripper, Dan Patlansky and
Muzart.
