What better way to spend a long, warm Swazi summer afternoon than with a little taste & inspiration from the islands?
Swazi Sunsplash provides a super friendly environment for people to come spend the day picnicking on the House on fire lawn, participate in beach themed games while soaking up the smooth sounds of reggae.
The day will be filled with fun, family friendly activities like beach volleyball, five-a-side football matches (the father of reggae Bob Marley was an avid soccer player!) as well as tasty Caribbean themed food stalls(fresh juicy pineapples, coconuts etc) , our very own beach & beach bar serving island themed-cocktails, and of course a classic braai!
Then when the sun sets on the island, it’s time to put on your dancing shoes and surrender to the reggae beats that will be dished out by local & International reggae artists. Also join us for the first ever Dancehall Queen competition!
Reggae music and culture has its roots firmly planted in messages of love, peace and harmony, so come spend a full day celebrating the summer, family and all things irie with us! It promises to be a day filled with nothing but good vibes and new experiences for all who attend.
